05 Why link Environment & Employment?   We are part of the environment and it still affects us greatly. As we affect it! Modern society has the potential to do more harm (or more good) than ever before to our delicate ecosystem. Good modern employment will benefit both us and our environment. The idea of amalgamating the goals of environmental protection and job creation, is key to our proposal and is elaborated in following pages... Some people may find the idea of social development and conservation as incompatible. We don’t! We think that the ‘right type of enterprise’, properly managed with the environment respected, can enhance the area for everyone.
